The protagonist of the tale is Lux, a former prince of the nation of Arcadia, which was deposed five years ago by a revolution. The new princess Lisesharte is furious with Lux after he inadvertently enters the women's sleeping portion of a toilet and discovers her undressed. He then finds himself engaged in a drag riding duel with her. Drag rides are ancient armored weapons that have been discovered in ruins all over the world. Following his confrontation with Lisesharte, Lux starts attending an all-female institution that prepares nobility to become drag knights, mostly of his own volition.
