Takemichi Hanagaki's life has reached its lowest point. His lone buddy from middle school, Hinata Tachibana, his ex-girlfriend, was murdered by the Tokyo Manji gang, as if that weren't horrible enough for him already. He is abruptly shoved off a train platform the following day, and to his surprise, he finds himself in middle school. Realizing that he has been transported back in time twelve years, he sees a chance to infiltrate the Tokyo Manji Gang and spare Hinata from her sad end.
