Following in his father's footsteps, Mitsuyoshi Tada, a high school student, is interested in photography and was taking pictures of cherry trees in full bloom when he met Teresa Wagner, a local of Larsenburg. Mitsuyoshi takes her to his grandfather's café since she has lost her friends. Teresa enrolls in Mitsuyoshi's class as an exchange student because the connection doesn't last beyond this one-off experience. After Teresa and fellow Larsenburg native Alexandra Magritte join Mitsuyoshi's photography group, the two become close friends and spend a lot of time together. However, Mitsuyoshi quickly discovers that Teresa is no ordinary exchange student.
