The life of Karen Kohiruimaki is not simple. The student has a poor social skills and feels self-conscious about her 183 cm tall height. She can, however, go all out in the VR shooter Gun Gale Online (GGO). She introduces herself as LLENN there, is only 150 cm tall, and is dressed entirely in pink. Here she meets the seasoned gamer Pitohui, who she finds a friend in and who finally convinces her to participate in the PvP competition "Squad Jam," a team battle royale variation of the well-known Bullet-of-Bullets tournament. LLENN finally agrees after some hesitation, and Pitohui assigns her the skilled sniper M, with whom she now goes into battle.
