Senran Kagura is an action video game series that was created by Kenichiro Takaki, a Japanese video game producer. The beginning of the game series was released in September of 2011, starting with 'Senran Kagura: Skirting Shadows' and is available to play in platforms such as: Nintendo 3DS, iOS, Android, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch. The game series consists of 12 games, however 2 have not yet been globally released.
The game series has become so popular that it has sold almost 2 million copies worldwide, as of 2017 and even an anime series as well as various manga series have also been created based on the game's storyline.
Senran Kagura is about various groups of female ninjas, who attend a Shinovi Academy. Throughout the storyline of the game series, these groups will battle against each other and players will get the chance to learn the story of each character.
