The empire is soon to be unified by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. He is only resisted by Odawara Castle, which is guarded by the lion of Sagami Ujiyasu Houjou. At the front are Hideyoshi personally trained generals Ishida Mitsunari, Katou Kiyomasa, and Fukushima Masanori, as well as Ootani Yoshitsugu, Shima Sakon, and Naoe Kanetsugu. Two young warriors from the Sanada family, Nobuyuki and his younger brother Yukimura, are also included in the combat squads. When the conflict eventually breaks out of its deadlock, Yukimura rides into the fray on his horse, followed closely by his brother.
