Room No. 9 is a South Korean drama series that follows the story of two women who share an unexpected connection. Jang Hwa Sa (Kim Hee Sun) is a lawyer who has been wrongfully convicted of murder and sent to prison for life. Eulji Hae Yi (Kim Hae Sook) is a mysterious woman who works as a mortuary makeup artist at the same prison where Jang Hwa Sa is held. The two women come together to confront their pasts in order to find redemption and justice in the present day. Along with Kim Young Kwang and Choi Won Young as supporting characters, Room No. 9 explores themes of guilt, revenge, friendship, and love in a compelling story about how one's past can shape their future.
