Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace is a mystery anime series based on the works of Edogawa Ranpo. The story follows Kobayashi, a high school student with a sense for the extraordinary, and his friend Hashiba who get caught up in various mysteries in their town.
The series follows Kobayashi and Hashiba as they investigate strange occurrences around them which lead to bigger mysteries that only they can solve. Along the way, they are aided by Akechi Kogoro, an enigmatic detective who seems to know more than he lets on. As the two uncover more secrets, they also come across some dark truths about their town and its inhabitants. Together with Kogoro, they must use their skills and wits to unravel the truth behind these mysteries and put an end to them before it's too late.
