Numbers play a significant role in Plunderer and the anime is driven by that theme. If a person's count decreases to zero, then they are deemed worthless by the world. They are dragged to the underworld by demons if that event takes place. Plunderer is action oriented with a lot of story lines that go along the way.

Plunderer is a popular anime in Japan and has a growing fan base. It was first released back in 2015 and new content is on the way. New characters are introduced and people can follow along with the story. The West has seen an anime dub, increasing fan interest in the show as well. Plunderer is continuing to expand the story with all new characters.
