It is not always simple for people to live in Daten City. They are constantly terrified of terrible monsters and ghosts that emerge from the darkness within them. Heaven sends two angels to Earth to defend humanity against the horror of the spirits. Stocking and Panty are their names. The two protagonists are based at Afro-priest Garterbelt's church and are roughly awaiting their task. Panty, a nymphomaniac, and Stocking, a candy-loving gothic girl, are not quite as sweet as they seem. The two probably wouldn't do anything if Garterbelt wasn't continuously reminding them that they must accumulate sky coins to survive, which they obtain by exorcising the ghosts in Daten City. As a result, they are forced to go ghost hunting in their agile car See Through, typically with the help of their neurotic yapper Chuck. Armed with Panty's panties and Stocking's stocking, the two angelic warriors pursue down murderers while putting a lot of mischief out of their misery.
