The town of Konohagakure is attacked by a huge nine-tailed fox monster, which decimates everything in its vicinity. Numerous valiant ninjas lose their lives while trying to defend the village and their families. The monster is finally brought under control by a special ninja, who then imprisons it inside the body of a baby. The fourth generation Hokage is a hero, but he must pay a high price. He sacrifices his life to save the community.
Twelve years have passed since this mishap, and the clumsy young ninja Naruto Uzumaki recently passed his first final exam at the ninja academy. He embarks on a journey with his two buddies to fulfill numerous missions for the town now that he has overcome the first obstacle on the route to becoming a great ninja. Both the young model student Sasuke Uchiha, with whom Sakura is madly in love, and the young female Sakura Haruno, with whom Naruto is madly in love, are by his side. While a result, they encounter numerous amusing and interesting circumstances as they carry out their assignments.
