Mushishi, a manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Urushibara, is set in an alternate world where mysterious creatures known as Mushi exist. The story follows Ginko, a Mushishi (mushi master) who travels around to investigate the various mysteries of the Mushi and help those affected by them. As he travels, he meets many different people and helps them solve their problems with the Mushi. Throughout his journey, Ginko discovers more about himself and the world of Mushi.
