The 7th colony's research facility is attacked by the pilot Char Aznable in an effort to stop the Federation from developing a new mobile suit. The Federation is able to effectively repel the onslaught since they already have a prototype, but this has disastrous effects. Amuro Ray, a teenage electrician, is forced to keep an eye on his friends and family during the combat in order to prevent their deaths. What, though, can a lone lad do to fend off a whole army of Mobile Suits?
