Love Live! Cosplay

Love Live! Sunshine!! is a Japanese multimedia project and sequel to the original Love Live! series. It follows the story of nine high school girls who form an idol group called Aqours in order to save their school from shutting down. The group consists of Chika Takami as the leader, You Watanabe as the vice-leader, Riko Sakurauchi as the composer, Kanan Matsuura as the choreographer, Dia Kurosawa as the manager, Yoshiko Tsushima as the mood-maker, Hanamaru Kunikida as the brains of the group and Mari Ohara and Ruby Kurosawa as additional members. In order to save their school from closing down, they must compete in the Love Live! competition and win against other rival groups. Along with music performances and daily life events at school, Aqours also explore topics such as friendship and growing up.

The anime adaptation for Love Live! Sunshine!! began airing in July 2016 and has since become a popular franchise with merchandise releases such as CDs and Blu-rays. There have also been various video games released based on Love Live! Sunshine!! including School Idol Festival All Stars which was released worldwide in 2019.
