The private Uranohoshi Girls' High School is situated in Uchiura, a neighborhood of Numazu in Shizuoka Prefecture, and is bordered by a sizable seashore. Nine girls attend a modest high school on the corner of Suruga Bay, where Chika Takami, a second-year student, is in charge. Chika is chasing her dream of becoming one of the future's brilliant "School Idols."
