In the world of the anime series Listeners, there is no such thing as music. There, a mysterious female named Myu who has an audio jack embedded in her body meets the boy Echo Rec one day. The two learn that when Myu connects to an amplifier, something incredibly unique occurs that has the power to alter their entire reality.

So they set out on a very unusual trip that has the potential to upend society's foundations and reintroduce music into everyone's life.
