Humanity Has Declined Cosplay

The number of people on Earth has been continuously declining for many millennia. Fairies currently predominately live on earth. About ten centimeters tall, incredibly intelligent, and with a voracious appetite for sweets, fairies are creatures. The main character of this novel has accepted a very significant responsibility: she serves as a sort of middleman between the fairies and the humans. She only agreed to this assignment since she believed that it was a relatively basic task that she could still complete in her advanced age. But as she gets to know the fairies, she must come to the conclusion that this mission is everything but easy.
