Yuri Honjou is transferred from her world to this one, where she immediately has to see other individuals who had arrived that way being killed or plunging to their deaths from the roofs out of pure despair. However, she is able to get away from the murders despite being inspired to kill by their masks and arming herself with a revolver. A short while later, she encounters the reclusive Mayuko Nise and persuades her to join her. Yes, it is possible to return to another dimension. But since the hooded assassins are not the biggest hazard, taking this route alone is nearly impossible.
