Tokyo's metropolis is firmly under the control of terror. Demonic possession started to cause people to suddenly catch fire. A specialized firefighting force, the Fire Force, was established to tackle this phenomena and is available to act whenever spontaneous combustion occurs. Shinra, a young man who can sprint as fast as a rocket thanks to flames on his feet, joins the team as a reinforcement. Will the Fire Force be able to locate and put out the fires, or will the city burn to the ground?
