Digimon Xros Wars (stylized as Digimon Xros Wars) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It is the sixth series in the Digimon franchise and aired between July 6, 2010 and March 21, 2012. The story follows Taiki Kudō, a young boy who leads an army of Digimon to save the Digital World from evil forces. He is joined by his friends Akari Hinomoto and Zenjirō Tsurugi, as well as their Digimon partners Shoutmon, Ballistamon and Dorulumon. Together they must battle against the Bagra Army, led by AxeKnightmon, who seeks to conquer the Digital World for himself. Along their journey they meet allies such as Cutemon, Hangyomon and Nene Amano. They also face powerful enemies like DarkKnightmon and Zamielmon. In order to save the Digital World from destruction, Taiki must find seven Code Crowns that will grant him control over all of its power.
