Kurumi Tokisaki, a nature spirit, first arrived on the adjacent earth from another realm. She has been making every effort to return to her true home ever since. She competes in this world with other spirits for the honor of being the final nature spirit left alive, who gets to have one wish granted. The white-haired ghost girl Hibiki Higoromo, who wants to exact revenge on the person who organized the contest for life and death, lends her support and forms a brief alliance with her in order to accomplish her objective.
