Case Closed Cosplay

Case Closed , also known as Detective Conan (名探偵コナン, Meitantei Konan), is an ongoing Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday on January 19, 1994, and has been collected into 96 tankōbon volumes as of April 10, 2018. Due to legal considerations with the name Detective Conan, the English language releases from Funimation and Viz were renamed to Case Closed. The story follows an amateur detective who was transformed into a child while investigating a mysterious organization and solves a multitude of cases while impersonating his friend's father and other characters.

Case Closed follows high school student Jimmy Kudo (known as Shinichi Kudo in Japan) who is a brilliant amateur detective. After witnessing a suspicious transaction between two men in black, he is attacked by them using a special poison which turns him into a young child instead of killing him. To hide his identity, he takes on the pseudonym Conan Edogawa inspired by the mystery writers Arthur Conan Doyle and Ranpo Edogawa. With help from his childhood friend Rachel Moore (Ran Mori in Japan) and her father Richard Moore (Kogoro Mori in Japan), Kudo/Conan continues to solve mysteries that come their way while searching for clues about the mysterious organization whose drug caused his transformation.
