Brand New Animal (BNA) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Trigger. It follows Michiru Kagemori, a girl who suddenly turns into a tanuki-human hybrid and goes to Anima City, which is populated by various animal-human hybrids. There she meets Shirou Ogami, a wolf-human hybrid who helps her learn more about the city and its secrets. Together they must uncover the truth behind the sudden appearance of animal-humans in the world and protect their newfound home from those who would seek to exploit it.
