Blood+ is an anime series that follows the story of Saya Otonashi, a high school student who discovers she is a vampire and is tasked with protecting mankind from Chiropterans, monsters that feed on human blood. Saya embarks on a quest to uncover the mysteries surrounding her past and the Chiropteran threat while also learning to control her newfound powers. Along the way, she meets allies and adversaries alike as she attempts to protect those she loves and save the world from destruction.
