Bleach Cosplay

Student Ichigo Kurosaki, 15, has been able to see spirits since he was a young boy. While pursuing a Hollow, an evil ghost, the ShinigamiRukia encounters him one day. She sustains severe injuries during the battle and is compelled to give Ichigo her powers. Ichigo must now perform the duties of a Shinigami on a daily basis until Rukia regains her abilities. As a result, Ichigo continues to learn and the two become closer.

Rukia is one day hauled back to the Soul Society (where all souls rest, including shinigamis) by her stepbrother Byakuya Kuchiki and her closest friend Renji Abarai, where she is found guilty of the grievous crime of giving away her shinigami abilities to a human and sentenced to death. Ichigo is tutored by Kisuke Urahara to become a true Shinigami because he is determined to save Rukia. He therefore goes out for the Soul Society alongside his friends and classmates Yasutora Sado, Orihime Inoue, and Uryuu Ishida (a Quincy), where they must face formidable Shinigamis. Piece by piece, a great plot is revealed during this process that could have negative effects on both the Soul Society and the actual world.
