BlazBlue is a series of fighting games developed by Arc System Works. The story takes place in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi, where humans and creatures known as the "Noise" co-exist. The game follows Ragna the Bloodedge, an outlaw with a powerful form of Ars Magus called the Azure Grimoire, as he battles to overthrow the Novus Orbis Librarium (NOL) organization that has been oppressing people for hundreds of years. Along the way, he meets several characters who join him in his quest. The game features fast-paced 2D combat and a variety of characters with unique abilities and styles.
