Back Street Girls is a comedy manga series by Jasmine Gyuh that follows the lives of three male yakuza members who are forced to undergo gender reassignment surgery and become an all-female idol group as part of their punishment for their past criminal activities. The trio must learn how to live life as women, while also trying to find success in the cutthroat world of Japanese idol culture. Along the way, they must also confront their own personal issues and the challenges that arise from being in such an unfamiliar situation.
