Ascendance of a Bookworm Cosplay

The short story Ascendance of a Bookworm is an adaptation of was written by Miyu Kazuki. Motosu Urano has completed her coursework and is currently in possession of her librarianship certificate. Both professionally and socially, she has a life ahead of her that is filled with reading! The young woman says she can't think of anything better, but regrettably she won't live to retire. When her hometown is shaken by an earthquake, she has hardly gotten to work when the books she adores the most turn into a terrible trap and bury Motosu beneath them. There are still a ton of books to read, though! She prays to God on the spur of the moment, and he grants her request and gives her a new life.

She is now five years old and proud to live in a brand-new world under the name Myne. She doesn't always have it easy because she is the poor soldier's daughter, but her interests haven't really changed; she is still utterly obsessed with books and wants to read as many of them as she can. She is faced with a wholly new issue in this new medieval society, though: There aren't many people here who can read, and even if there were, a book would be quite expensive. But if Myne allowed that to bring her down, she wouldn't be a true book lover. She'll just create her own books if there aren't any around.
