Appare-Ranman! Cosplay

We are at the end of the 19th century in Appare-Ranman! Following an incident, the smart but socially awkward engineer Appare Sorano and the clever but cowardly samurai Kosame Isshiki are traveling carelessly and penniless towards America. The two decide to enter the big Trans-America Wild Race, where prize money is guaranteed to the winners, in order to make it possible for them to return to Japan. To be the first to reach the finish line on the route from Los Angeles to New York, they set out on a daring voyage through the Wild West in their own self-built steam vehicle, battling mad opponents, outlaws, and the traps of nature.
