In 22/7, Miu Takigawa is informed in a letter that she has been selected to take part in an unidentified project. She visits the location listed in the letter despite her skepticism. She runs into seven other girls who were also directed to the location for the same reason. There, a record business tells them that it plans to recruit Miu and the other girls to join a new idol band. There has never been an idol group like this one!
